Join Kernow Coasteering for Cornwall’s greatest coasteering experience. On this trip, we take on the towering cliffs of Land’s End. Coasteer through an absolutely epic landscape of stunning cliff scenery and explore a jaw-dropping array of gigantic caves and sea arches. Swim and scramble along the coast until we finally round mainland Britain’s most westerly point, before heading to our exit — a scramble up a granite promontory above a final, dramatic sea arch.
This is our most advanced coasteering experience and is not for the faint-hearted. It comes with strict participation requirements:
-
Previous experience of coasteering in a tidal environment
-
Confident swimming ability (you must be able to swim 200m without stopping)
-
Minimum age of 16
-
A short scramble at the end — rope assistance is available, but those with a serious fear of heights may struggle here
Several of the largest caves and sea arches on this route are featured in our
Top 10 Sea Caves in West Cornwall — a great read if you want a sneak peek at what’s in store.
Important note: This trip is only possible when sea conditions are perfect, which isn’t often. If your visit window doesn’t line up with the right conditions, we’ll automatically transfer your booking to one of our
standard coasteering sessions in West Cornwall to ensure you still get an unforgettable coasteering experience.
Itinerary
We meet in the main Land’s End car park (note: parking is not included). After getting kitted up, we make our way to the water’s edge below the cliffs. From there, it’s all go. This is a committing route — we must complete the full journey before reaching our next viable exit point. That’s why prior experience and confidence in the water are essential.
We require a minimum of 6 participants to run this session. If you’re booking solo or as a small group, we’ll aim to group you with others.
"I expected it to be good, but not that good!"

Inclusions
What's Included
🧰 Equipment - We provide you with a good quality winter wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid.
What you'll need
🍴 Food - You may want a snack on hand for when you've finished coasteering.
🥤 Drink
📋 Other - All of our guests need to bring some trainers or wetsuit boots to wear into the water. This is mandatory, and it is not possible to take part without footwear. You also need to bring an extra pair of shorts that can be worn over the wetsuit that we provide. The shorts give you some extra padding, and protect our wetsuits from damage by the barnacles. Finally, you also need to bring your swimwear and a towel.
