About Cairngorm Reindeer

The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd is Britain’s only free-ranging herd of reindeer found in the Cairngorm mountains in Scotland. These tame and friendly animals are a joy to all who come and see them. Reindeer are not just for Christmas!

Booking Policy

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked slot and come into the shop to collect your tickets. Please note that if you arrive late then you will not be offered a refund. The number of reindeer on display may vary daily but is usually 4 - 6 reindeer. There is no direct contact with the reindeer (no feeding or patting with the current restrictions) but there is plenty of opportunity for photographs. Face coverings must be worn in indoor areas and when in close proximity to other households.
